About The Event

Climate change takes centre stage when Professor Peter Hobson, Professor of Biodiversity, Conservation and Sustainability at Writtle University College gives a talk at Woodbridge Community Hall on Thursday 20 October 2022 at 7.30 pm.

The talk has been organised jointly by Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Woodbridge Wildlife Group and the Suffolk Bird Group.  

Chairman of Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s Woodbridge Wildlife Group, Phil Smith, said “We are pleased to join with the Suffolk Bird Group to present what is sure to be an interesting and challenging evening.  All are welcome to come along and hear Professor Hobson, who is an eloquent and knowledgeable speaker.”

Chris Courtney, SBG Chairman said "After a very successful first joint event last autumn, we look forward to another fascinating talk and for more enjoyable discussion between our respective members."

There is no need to book for this talk, entry is £3 for adults, with under 25’s free. Doors open at7 pm, with the talk starting at 7.30 pm.  Light refreshments will be served and there will be a raffle. “
