POETRY WORKSHOP

Release your inner Shakespeare and come join local author Ruth Leigh in the third of her creative writing workshops with us at suffolksense for a poetry workshop.

This fun, accessible and interactive session will involve background from Ruth on the purpose of poetry and she will share examples of different kinds (Lyric, Romantic, Modern etc), forms - haikus, sonnets, elegies etc. You will have an opportunity to take part in a couple of writing exercises and to write your own poem.

Suitable for all those with an interest in creative writing and poetry, for those who have joined Ruth before or for newcomers! Don't miss out.
