Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s Woodbridge Wildlife Group are planning a walk and a talk during April 2024.
On Thursday 18 April author Conor Jameson presents a talk entitled “Finding W.H. Hudson – the writer who came to Britain to save the birds” at Woodbridge Community Hall, Station Road, IP12 4AU, starting at 7.30 pm. Local group chairman Phil Smith, said “Conor’s latest book tells the story of W.H.Hudson’s pioneering role as a campaigner, supporting the women who founded the RSPB.” Mr Smith added “We are delighted to welcome Conor, who is a wonderfully entertaining speaker, back to Suffolk, and this promises to be an interesting and enjoyable evening”
Admission to the talk is £3 for adults, with under 25’s free. During the evening there will be a raffle and refreshments. Doors open at 7 pm and there is no need to book for this talk.
