The switch on of the Christmas lights in Wickham Market tonight created a buzz in the village. Many thanks to the children for the wonderful Christmas carols. Father Christmas was there to meet and treat the children and a number of our local shops opened their doors late with free refreshments and a very warm welcome. It was great to see such a warming traditional atmosphere.
