With the country needing a reported 220,000 new homes each year the government brought out a white paper which highlights the housing issue and asked towns and villages to produce plans showing suitable development areas.

There was a public meeting in Wickham Market where we were asked for thoughts, views and concerns. The extra housing does have to come, we all know that, every town and every village has to provide an allocation - where would you rather see it?
