Last week we brought you a sample of the decorations in Alison Home Furnishings. This week the camera was out again visiting R & S Hardware looking at the Christmas fayre.

This little shop is packed full of all the little things you need and saves the trouble and cost of travelling to a DIY store or the big supermarkets. Personal service, advice and a lack of crowds are all welcome changes.

Last year they proved perfect for me when I needed a timer for my lights at Christmas and spare bulbs, the year before I needed an extension lead for the Christmas lights outside. Very handy, well priced and saved me loads of time.
