The Wickham Market Village Hall New Build Group is hoping to organise an Open Gardens event in 2020, combining the villages of Wickham Market, Pettistree and Loudham. It is planned for the weekend of
Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st June 2020.
If you think you might be willing to join in the event – allowing the public to visit your garden - or allotment – please get in touch with one of us (see contacts below) We will have a brief initial meeting on Wednesday 17th July at 7.30pm at Rogues Cottage, Pettistree to gauge interest and commitment. If you can’t make that date could you please let us know in advance that you would like to be included so that we can assess garden numbers. We need at least 15 gardens to make the event a success - but they don’t have to be pristine. A ‘Wildlife Garden’, a ‘Courtyard Garden’ or a ‘Work in Progress’ could be just as welcoming for friends, neighbours and the public to visit and enjoy. We already have 5 expressions of interest to open gardens in Pettistree.
