The Wickham Market Chinwag will take place on the second Thursday of the month and the first date is Thursday 12th March (details attached)
We have been running a monthly Pop Up Chinwag in Kesgrave since April 2018. This has grown and we now have approx. 70 people turn up each month.

Pop Up Chinwags are social befriending groups that run on a monthly basis in locations across Suffolk – these are set up in a community location with access where possible to transport routes and car parking. The key is to make these events as accessible as possible to all. All of the groups are dementia friendly and we welcome people whether they come along on their own, or in a group. The format is simple – refreshments, entertainment, lots of chat, and the opportunity to ask about or access services and support that Age UK Suffolk and other local organisations could provide. The Chinwags are for people aged 65+ and are free to attend.
If you are free and would like to come along you would be very welcome. Please feel free to share these details with any colleagues, neighbours or friends who may know of people who would benefit from the group in Wickham Market. We also run pop up chinwags in Kesgrave, Needham Market and Woodbridge and will be launching ones in Beccles and Southwold shortly.
