Martlesham Wilds Reserve

There will be a chance to hear more about Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s plans for their new Martlesham Wilds Reserve when Andrew Excell from the Trust presents a talk entitled “Martlesham Wilds – a true wild space to help nature recovery right on our doorstep” at Woodbridge Community Hall, Station Road, IP12 4AU on Thursday 18 January 2024, starting at 7.30 pm.

Phil Smith, Chairman of Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s Woodbridge Wildlife Group, who have organised the talk, said “Following the tremendous support Suffolk Wildlife Trust received with their fundraising campaign to buy the reserve, it will be great to hear more about the their exciting plans to develop the space for wildlife.”

Mr Smith continued “Following the talk, we will be holding an Auction of Promises, which we hope will provide some entertainment as well as raising funds to assist with the work planned at Martlesham Wilds over the coming months.”

Admission to the evening is £3 for adults, with Under 25’s free. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a raffle. Doors open at 7 pm. There is no need to book for this talk.
