Are You COVID-19 Compliant?

Getting back to full face-to-face delivery of your service or organisation is vital to your future and for your community. So, let us help you get back to your pre-pandemic delivery level.

We have enlisted experts in health and safety to help you navigate through the various requirements and protocols, while at the same time enabling you to share ideas and experiences with other groups and leaders in the voluntary sector.

Workshops and 121 Planning Sessions

These are one-hour workshops for up to 30 people where you can find out more about the Suffolk Community Restart Fund.

Community Restart 121’s will be an opportunity for an individual or organisation to have a one hour free session to discuss any barriers they may be experiencing in re-opening or resuming their activities.

This could be anything to do with your operation; your resources; or something which is external to the organisation. Whether you are an exercise class; a community building; or a youth club; we will do our best to help you overcome these barriers in order for you to re-open or re-start your activity in a safe manner. Available dates and times can be found here

Suffolk Community Restart Fund

A dedicated fund has been created for the ‘Community Restart’ initiative, allowing organisers of clubs, groups, venues and schemes to not only access Covid Restart training and workshops, but also to apply for grants of between £250 and £2,500.

Community Action Suffolk will be working with Suffolk County Council, West Suffolk District Council, East Suffolk Council, Ipswich Borough Council, Babergh and Mid Suffolk Council to administer the Suffolk Community Restart Fund and to support local venues and community groups to restart and reopen.
