Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s Woodbridge Wildlife Group are planning a walk and a talk during April 2023.
On Saturday 1 April the group will be holding a Spring Woodland Walk at Pound Farm Wood, Great Glemham, IP17 2DP, starting at 9.30 am. Chairman Phil Smith said “We will be walking around this interesting mixed woodland looking for spring flowers and wildlife. We are grateful to The Woodland Trust, who have given us permission to hold this walk.”
“The walk starts from the Pound Farm car park (TM 322630) and will last for approximately two hours. Places on this walk are strictly limited and must be pre-booked by contacting Suffolk Wildlife Trust. The cost is £5 per person with under 25’s free, and bookings can be made online through www.suffolkwildlifetrust.org (events section) or by telephoning them on 01473 890089. The walk is suitable for children over 10. No Dogs except assistance dogs. Participants are advised to wear sturdy waterproof footwear (as the ground may be uneven) and bring binoculars. Parking is limited so if participants can share transport it will be appreciated.
