Or an Assistant Treasurer
As Treasurer you would:
Be responsible for the trading account
Paying creditors, i.e. commodity suppliers, utilities & licences
Timesheet aspects of staff payroll (currently completed by the Club’s Accountant)
Completing returns/payments via HMRC websites
As Assistant Treasure you would:
Complete the top two functions, at least and anything else, by agreement. In which case you would work closely with the Club’s Accountant & provide the data required for them to do the more technical aspects.
Apart from reporting to the monthly Management Committee meetings, you will be able to work from home. An annual honorarium is payable.
The RBL Club is a private members social club, open to all and affiliated to the national RBL. It opens daily (pandemic excepted) for the sale of alcohol. Currently there are 5 part-time employees and approx. 150 members.
