72nd Wickham Market Annual Show in the Village Hall
Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August.
Our theme for the show is ‘Trees’
A reminder that the show schedule plus entry form is available from various village locations including Suffolk Sense, R and S Hardware, Inspirations, the Library and Resource centre foyer and the Post Office.
Local school children will receive a copy of the schedule from the primary school early in the summer term.
We look forward to receiving your entry forms, to be submitted by Tuesday 2nd August to either Anne Westover or Alison Calvesbert Reardon.
A few words of explanation to queries which have come up:
Out of 107 classes in a variety of categories only 23 are for Wickham Market residents only. That means people from outside are village are very welcome to enter all of the other 84 classes.
Anything can be entered into the relevant class if it has been made, grown or created by you!
Classes range from grown produce, flower, cookery/kitchen craft, handicraft, photography, and children’s classes.
We have also published an electronic version for those who prefer the option of printing and completing the entry form at home. This can be found on Facebook Visit Wickham Market, Facebook Wickham Market Village Show page.
We are looking for a major sponsor for the event this year. In the past the COOP have sponsored us some £250 but they have recently changed their focus and cannot assist us this year. Any offers of sponsorship and / or raffle gifts or vouchers will be received with much appreciation, and your business or group promoted too.
