COULD YOU HELP WITH A TEMPORARY HOME?

The Shed project for Wickham Market has some keen participants who are investigating a permanent home for a Shed in or near the village.

Sheds are developing in many locations around Suffolk, and aim to provide premises for (mostly) men to work together on practical activities such as woodworking or metalworking, sharing skills, upcycling resources, mending items and creating things for the community, as well as working on their own projects. All this in a friendly, sociable environment where tea and cakes are essential.

Whilst developing a permanent home the group is keen to start work straightaway so is looking for a temporary home where they can put machinery that might be donated to them to good use.

The participants are willing to do some tidying up if something becomes available – it doesn’t have to be grand but does need an electricity supply.
