The Gardening Club Committee have decided with much regret that none of the planned Gardening Club activities up to the end of September can take place. This includes the Autumn Show. Our expectation is that social distancing will be with us for many months to come and we have no confidence that we could meet these requirements.

The Autumn Show presents us with particular difficulties. Clearly we would not be able to ask for Sponsorship and refreshments would present all sorts of problems, so we wanted to inform potential exhibitors of our decision as soon as possible. It would not be fair to announce the cancelation of the Show in late June or July by which time exhibitors could have undertaken significant work (and expense!) in preparing for a non-existent show.

The Committee will be meeting again in early June to consider the programme from October onwards.
