Potsford Livery has an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Groom.

Working hours will be Tue-Thursday - 8am-5pm + extra for holiday cover.

We are looking for a team player who is flexible, hardworking, and confident around horses with previous experience working on a livery yard or similar setting.

We require you to have at least your BHS stage 2. You will be caring for around 20 horses of all different disciplines. Jobs will include feeding, poo picking, mucking out, turning in and out, tack cleaning, clipping, first aid treatments, exercising horses and assisting clients to give them the high level of care our clients and horses expect.

This job is hard work physically and you will be working outside in all weathers.

The yard is based just outside Wickham Market - IP13 0NB and has 19 stables, an outdoor flood lit arena, separate summer and winter grazing and is on a 200 acre working farm with separate Care Farm.

You must be over 18 to apply. Minimum wage is offered (£8.72 per hour), plus annual leave and training.
