Wickham Market Partnership (WMP) is a local organisation with the objective
“To secure and improve the economic and social framework of Wickham Market and the surrounding parishes by encouraging the development of recreational and leisure activities; offering opportunities for education and training and improving and enhancing the town and surrounding communities”.
It has charitable status and comprises of six volunteer trustees supported by a part time administrative assistant.
The Partnership is now seeking a replacement for the current assistant who is shortly to retire. The post is 8 hours a week based in an office in Wickham Market Community Rooms. On agreement with the Trustees some flexibility on the hours, and with some home working, can be negotiated.
Salary scale: Local Government Pay Scales: Single Status Grade 2. £18,333 - £19,264 pro rata (£9.50 - £9.99 per hour).
Key duties include:
• Office Duties
• Community Rooms Administration (including invoicing)
• Minuting & Committee Support for the Trustees
• Management of the village information email, ‘Wickham News’
Trustees are looking for someone with office skills and experience who is computer literate and experienced in up-to-date PC applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. An ability to communicate well and offer support to the Trustees is essential.
