COULD YOU VOLUNTEER AS A STEWARD TO HELP DELIVER THE BOOSTER JAB PROGRAMME?
There is an intensive booster programme currently being rolled out, with the aim to get as many people in Suffolk vaccinated with a Covid booster by December 24th, but there will still be a need into the New Year.
To achieve this, there is a real and urgent need for volunteers to undertake stewarding and marshalling roles at various sites.
The Role:-
Steward Volunteers help people move easily and safely through COVID-19 vaccination sites. You may also be asked to support at other sites including GP surgeries and pharmacies. You could be asked to support with managing queues and directing people to the right place. Stewarding at vaccination sites may also involve monitoring numbers and ensuring safe social distancing measures are followed. This role would be mostly conducted outside.
