Dear all, if you have some time and wish to help keep Wickham green through trees I am planning a short and last work party before Christmas.
Managing the trees along the B1438 west side of the road, south of the village….. and of course litter collection.
We will need to consider Covid restrictions so please let me know if you would like to come along so I can make sure that numbers are limited to six.
Sunday 13th December 10.30am High Street, walk or meet in the layby east side of the road near the cluster of houses (in Pettistree).
Please bring a flask, snack, gloves. Loppers, penknife and secateurs will all be useful for light pruning and plastic removal.
We will start our new ambitious planting project in the New Year so do let me know if you are interested in helping as soon as possible (space may be limited!).
