Dear all, if you have some spare time and wish to help keep Wickham green through trees I am planning a work party on the Sports field off Thong Hall Road.

Access by car onto the car park off the road or you can walk on the paths off Dallinghoo Road, Little Lane or Orchard Place.

Over the last 20 years we have been creating a treed boundary using native tree and hedge species. It now looks very attractive and gives shelter to the youth footballers and a great wildlife corridor.

Learn how to care for young trees and have a good chat at the same time!

Do bring a flask, snack, gloves and secateurs. I will collect up the trees and tools from the Bier House at the cemetery.

Formative pruning, tidying tubes, adding trees, collecting litter.
